Our scale of fees:

EnglisHaus offers a full architectural service and you can opt for all of that service - or just a small part of it. You may want to employ us for an hour or two simply to give you general advice. You may want us to draw up some design options for you. Alternatively, you may want us to manage the whole project for you from beginning to end. Our separate leaflet gives full details of our charges.

Saving you money:

We know that our fees can save your project costings and add project value for money. However, employing EnglisHaus can save you money directly too: via the competitive tendering process, this would normally save you between 10-15% of your overal project value. We can assist you in proving your case to Customes and Excise and reduce your VAT bill from 17.5% to either 5% or 0% VAT, dependant on your project circumstance.

Professional attention to detail ensures the most efficient use of space in our design. Our competitive tendering process helps you find the most reasonable contractor for the job. Our careful selection of materials and finishes, and our knowledge of energy efficiency and other techniques, will take account of future running and maintenance costs.

The fees for the individual elements of our architectural service are shown below - exclusive of VAT.

No planning consent - no fee:

We are so confident of our service that, for our clients, that have projects which we consider to fit into the permitted development criteria and require a Lawful Development certificate we offer a special "No planning consent, no fee" arrangement. If we submit a final design proposals submission to the local authority on your behalf - and fail to obtain permitted development consent - we will reimburse you our normal £565 design option fee for producing the refused final design and for submitting it.
